Emplify Health opens new clinic in Mondovi
Today, Emplify Health takes another step in fulfilling its mission of providing care close to home with the opening of its new clinic in Mondovi. It’s supported by Gundersen Tri-County Hospital and Clinics and is the northernmost clinic in its service area. The clinic opened to patients on Dec. 16, once again providing healthcare services to the people in and around Mondovi.
“We know Mondovi and communities in and around the Chippewa Valley have been through a lot in the last year,” says Kraig Schuster, vice president of operations for Emplify Health’s Gundersen Region. “Losing a healthcare provider has a significant impact on the quality of life for many people. Today marks the start of a new day.”
Emplify Health Mondovi Clinic is a primary care clinic, offering services provided by Tayla Anderson, PA-C, and her Family Medicine team that includes preventative care, routine exams, medication management, chronic condition management, minor illnesses and injuries and new medical concerns. Additional services include lab and physical therapy, with more to come.
In addition to Anderson, others who will serve patients at the Mondovi Clinic include physical therapist Jennifer Plaetz, DPT; Kendra Edwards, RN; and Emilee Pfaffe, MA. Patients will be greeted by patient liaisons Jackie Baumgartner and Amber White.
“We’re so excited to open our new clinic in Mondovi. This will allow us to bring care close to home that we know the people of the Mondovi area so richly deserve,” says Dan Coenen, administrator of Gundersen Tri-County Hospital and Clinics. “This is a great day for healthcare in the Chippewa Valley, our system, and most importantly, the people we look forward to getting to know and serve.”
Hours at the clinic are 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. To schedule an appointment, use MyChart or call (715) 926-1113.
